If you’re comfortable wearing a costume during a bike race or chilling on the sidelines and laughing along with folks who are doing the same, you’ll fit right in. We embrace a “you do you” philosophy, as long as you being you involves having a good time. Wearing bike clothes to dinner? Good on you. You must have had a great day on the trail.
While many of us who live here live and breathe mountain biking in the summer months, we’re happy to share our trails with the most passionate and the most casual bikers, and everyone in between. If you want to ride 100 miles in a day. Go for it. If you’d rather cruise the Lower Loop then head back to town and explore the galleries, make it happen!
Gunnison Valley Scene
Our apres scene is chill. Both up and down the valley we have an unusual mix of breweries, coffee shops, honky tonks, and bookstores.
If you crave a cold beer after your afternoon ride, just pick a patio. If the sun’s too hot, go inside. If coffee is more your thing, head to one of our cafes. Many roast their own beans in small batches. One coffee shop even has a bike shop inside it.
